Join us for a quiet, neurodivergent-friendly reading and discussion session. This gathering explores how ideas about “normality” have shaped society and how those ideas still affect neurodivergent and disabled people today. We’ll begin with a short, quiet reading session using the six-page Chapter 3, "The Eugenics Movement", in Dr Robert Chapman's seminal book Empire of Normality, followed by facilitated conversation. You’re welcome to listen, reflect or share in whatever way feels right.

A low-pressure, inclusive space.No prep required. We'll have space and the materials to individually read the short chapter at the start of the session.All ways of participating and contributing are valid.
